EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAINING
Wildfire & disaster response simulation
Souxmar develops scenario-based simulation environments for wildfire response, disaster preparedness and emergency management training. Projects combine geospatial environments, incident scenarios, team coordination and instructor tools around defined exercise objectives.
For emergency services, forestry organizations, municipalities, civil protection agencies and training providers that need a focused exercise application or an integrated emergency response simulator.
Discuss your requirementsWildfire response and aerial firefighting
Wildfire training scenarios can incorporate terrain, land cover, weather conditions and scenario-driven fire progression. Exercises can represent aerial firefighting coordination, ground-team deployment, access constraints and changing visibility. Mathematical models and Unreal Engine visual environments are integrated according to the exercise requirements, with model assumptions, input data and validation scope documented.
Earthquake, flood and search-and-rescue exercises
Disaster response scenarios can represent damaged infrastructure, interrupted communications, blocked access routes and evolving resource demands. Earthquake aftermath, flood response and search-and-rescue exercises are configured around customer-defined procedures and learning objectives. Event sequences can be repeated or varied to compare team responses under consistent simulated conditions.
Evacuation and multi-agency coordination
Simulation can support evacuation exercises, staging-area planning and coordination between field teams and an incident command function. Resource availability, travel times, route capacity and communication constraints are defined within the scenario. Different response plans can be explored against the same assumptions, with outcomes assessed using agreed exercise criteria.
Exercise control and after-action review
Instructor tools can introduce scenario events, assign tasks, adjust conditions and record participant decisions. Shared map views and role-specific interfaces support multi-agency exercises. Event timelines, logs and replay provide material for after-action review, including comparison of simulated response times, task completion and resource use against the training objectives.
Starting your project
Identify the incident types, participating roles, training objectives and procedures to represent. Supply available terrain or GIS data, equipment characteristics and example exercise plans. We agree on scenario boundaries, model fidelity, participant interfaces and acceptance criteria before implementation.
Project questions
Can we use our own terrain and GIS data?
Yes. Customer-supplied geospatial data can be assessed for coordinate systems, coverage, resolution and usage rights before integration. The scene detail and model requirements are selected for the intended exercise.
Can an exercise include several agencies or teams?
Yes. Roles, shared information, communication channels and instructor permissions can be defined for a multi-agency exercise. A project can start with a single scenario and expand through separately scoped integration stages.
